Door Bumper Clear: Winning Cures All

Here’s something we haven’t said all year: Welcome to the Top-5, Freddie Kraft.

The ‘Door Bumper Clear’ co-host and spotter for Bubba Wallace entered the studio with a little more pep to his step Monday morning, as Kraft, Wallace and the 23XI team finished fifth at Pocono on Sunday. Here’s what else you can expect from the DBC team in this week’s episode:

  • Kraft, TJ Majors, and Brett Griffin discuss the dramatic weekend at Pocono, where Kyle Larson was denied a fourth consecutive win when he lost a tire entering the final corner. The boys wonder if fans are appreciative of Larson’s recent dominance.

  • Fuel strategy! There’s no podcast more qualified to explain the fuel situation than DBC. Kyle Busch won when William Byron and Denny Hamlin had to pit in the waning laps. The crew analyzes Pocono’s ability to produce fuel mileage races, and how it creates excitement. Freddie gives exclusive detail into how he coached Wallace in conserving enough gas to score the top-five.

  • The gang discusses recent news of Brad Keselowski moving over to Roush Racing in 2022, and what that might mean for Ryan Newman. They also examine John Hunter Nemechek’s success in the Truck series and whether more young, struggling Cup drivers should follow suit.

  • Brett, Casey, Freddie, and TJ compare hair stylist tips, make their picks for this week’s Road America race and SRX’s early successes. And don’t forget Reaction Theatre is back with new calls.

It’s all on a new Door Bumper Clear presented by Offerpad - available now on this site and all major podcasting platforms.
