Door Bumper Clear To Be Broadcast on MAVTV Starting This Week

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 9, 2022) – One of racing’s most popular podcasts is clearing its way to television.

Door Bumper Clear, a Dirty Mo Media-original podcast, will begin simulcasting on MAVTV starting Thursday, May 12, as part of a licensing agreement between the two companies. MAVTV will air a one-hour version of DBC on its linear network on Thursdays at 7 p.m. ET and an elongated version on its subscription-based streaming platform, MAVTV Plus.

As for the podcast itself, nothing will change. Fans of Door Bumper Clear can continue to expect new episodes each Monday throughout the NASCAR race season on DirtyMoMedia.com and all major podcasting platforms. DBC is in its seventh season and has taped more than 250 episodes.

DBC’s rise in popularity has opened the doors to some fun opportunities, and this is the latest example of that,” said Dirty Mo Media’s Mike Davis. “The show is a brand of transparency and authenticity that NASCAR fans don’t get anywhere else.”

Door Bumper Clear is hosted by veteran NASCAR spotters Brett Griffin, T.J. Majors and Freddie Kraft, as well as industry insider Casey Boat. The show has emerged as an influential voice in the sport with its unfiltered opinions, insight and humor. DBC features popular segments “Spot On/Spot Off,” in which hosts debate noteworthy topics in the sport, and “Reaction Theatre,” where fans have the opportunity to be heard.

"We were looking for some new motorsports programming that was bold, maybe even on-the edge, and Door Bumper Clear fit well with what we are trying to accomplish with the network," said Bob Dillner, Sr. Director of Programming and Development for MAVTV. "Brett, Freddie and T.J. have created a culture of real honest opinions and the fans are attracted to that, whether they like what they are saying or not. Casey keeps the show on track, so it's a nice compliment of thought-provoking commentary with sensible debate about the sport we all love."

Owned and operated by Lucas Oil Products, MAVTV is deeply rooted in the automotive world. It offers a wide line-up of exclusive motorsports programming, including national mainstream events and grassroots racing from across the globe.

The long-version simulcast of Door Bumper Clear will be housed on MAVTV Plus, which can be accessed via subscription at MAVTVPLUS.com or the MAVTV app. MAVTV Plus features live and on-demand programming plus access to over 175 live race events.
